Easter is a time of celebration and joy, it is especially a time for families to come together and celebrate.The Easter season brings with it a sense of renewal and hope, as well as a time to enjoy the beauty of spring. Many people enjoy decorating eggs, attending Easter egg hunts, and eating delicious treats. Easter is a fun time of year for children and adults alike, but it can be especially fun for your four-legged family members too! One of the best ways to make Easter extra special for your pup is to set up a dog-themed Easter egg hunt. Here are some tips on how to do just that!
Get creative with the treats 🐰
Treats don't have to be boring. Get creative with the treats you use in your Easter egg hunt. Buy some fillable egg containers from your local craft store to make it even more Easter themed.
Hide the filled eggs in a variety of places 👀
Your treats can be hidden in a variety of places. Try hiding them in different rooms of your house, in the yard, or even in a park. Be sure to make sure the eggs are hidden in places your pup can safely find them.
Share with your peeps! 🐣
Invite all your pups closest doggy friends, your nieces, nephews or grandchildren to make it even more egg-citing, after all the more the merrier!
Give hints 🥚
Set up clues on card for those involved in the hunt to read to your pup, or even create a treasure hunt map. Try using verbal cues such as "hot" and "cold" to give your pup a better idea of where the eggs are hidden.
Hop to it 👯♀️
After all the eggs have been found, hand out medals for those pups or children who found the most eggs and maybe even a special prize.
Get cookin' 🧺
